The Well – mediation group for local mothers

Mothers! Are you exhausted, fed up, lonely or just needing some me-time? Would you like an hour of quiet, connection and mediation? Join us on Tuesday evening in Hurstpierpoint!

This is a small meditation group run by two local mothers, for other mums who need a bit of time out. We meet for an hour that includes a welcome, a guided meditation, a chance to share and connect with other mums, and we finish with a relaxation exercise. You don’t need meditation experience, and we won’t be levitating or seeking enlightenment (although if it comes, we’re also ok with that). Its a chance to slow down, relax and fill up your tank a little bit.

Being a mother is full on. We feel that there isn’t enough support for mums, and that we can often feel overwhelmed and isolated. We came up with The Well as the place to take a moment out of our busy lives, to connect with other women, and to nourish our minds and souls.

Oh and there are cookies!

We welcome donations, based on what people can afford. We want this to be accessible for all local mothers.

Holy Communion Service at Holy Trinity

Our weekly Sunday Holy Communion is a beautiful service in modern language with hymns and music from our choir. We meet at 9.30am and our service is followed by tea and coffee so do stay and chat if you would like to – everyone is very welcome.

Although we are currently unable to offer activities for children as part of this service, our Play Box creche room is available for under 4s throughout. However, we love children at Holy Trinity so we are more than happy with their wriggles and noises if you would prefer to stay in with them. Our 11am service has more provision for children aged 4 and above as part of the service.

Please see other posts for details of our monthly quiet said service at 8am, and weekly 11am service – a whole range of different styles of worship so we hope you can find a service that suits you.

Whoever you are, whatever your story, you are welcome!
