Dukes
5-piece psych-rock pop band from Hurst, ready to bring their unique sound to HURSTfolk.. Presenting original material influenced by The Stone Roses and The Coral, Dukes have already gained a local following with several successful gigs under their belt.
With a lineup featuring a vocalist, two electric guitarists, a bass player, and a drummer, they promise to deliver an explosive performance. Don’t miss Dukes – their music speaks for itself!
The Self Help Group
Lounging on the South Coast of the UK, The Self Help Group has spent the last 12 years producing two albums, a plethora of singles, performing numerous live shows, and raising 13 children. With the remaining reserves of their energy, they make a return in 2023 with a new studio album, “Dream of a Ghost.” This latest release continues to deliver the band’s trademark Americana-influenced vocal harmonies and intertwining melodies, now occasionally enriched with the addition of bleeping synthesisers. The album presents more tales of love, loss, and obsession to captivate the listener.
