Cecil Rice Painting Classes at Hurst: New term September 2022

An event every week that begins at 8:00 AM on Monday and Tuesday, repeating until 27/09/22
Weekly painting classes at Hurstpierpoint (and on Zoom) led by Brighton painter and art tutor Cecil Rice. These friendly art classes are suitable for beginners and regular painters in watercolour, acrylics and oil. Friendly, supportive atmosphere among established members.
Enjoy painting with others in a modern, well-ventilated, light-filled room at Hurstpierpoint Scout hut with enough space to spread out and a free car park just outside. The class size of 8 ensures adequate social distancing.
Sessions start with short painting demos presenting different techniques and a variety of themes to provide inspirational starting points. Students are encouraged to follow their own interests and explore new ways of working. Good-humoured critical appraisal where requested and, of course, encouragement.
