TASTING NOTES

Timothy Taylor Landlord 4.3%
A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.

Timothy Taylor Boltmaker 4.0%
A well-balanced, genuine Yorkshire Bitter, with a full measure of maltiness and hoppy aroma, Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker – on both sides of the Pennines.

Bath Ales Gem 4.1%
We used traditional British malts and balanced the soft fruits and bittersweet caramel with a soft, smooth bitterness.

Hogs Back Surrey Nirvana IPA 4.0%
A modern and easy-drinking, well-balanced Session IPA with an enticing aroma blending citrus and tropical notes with a clean, dry finish and characteristic grapefruit high notes.

The Crafty Brewing Co Blindside 4.0%
A truly fine example of a best bitter. Well balanced malt and hops combine to deliver a distinctive malty bitterness and a crisp refreshing finish.

The Crafty Brewing Co Loxhill Biscuit 3.6%
We use three malts; English Maris Otter, German Munich and the favourite, Belgian Biscuit. A wonderful balance of sweet floral notes and a subtle orange finish.

The Crafty Brewing Co HOP TIPPLE IPA 4.2%
Maris Otter and Munich malts from Britain and Germany provide a platform from which the Cascade and Chinook hops shine out.

St Austell Proper Job 4.5%
This powerfully authentic IPA is brewed with a blend of imported American hops. It is a real treat with a growing reputation and is loved by beer enthusiasts far and wide.

Gun Brewery Project Babylon 4.6%
A classic American Pale Ale brewed using a combination of very pale malts and American hops. Vibrant, refreshing and zesty on the nose, with citrus notes and a dry finish on the palate.

Bedlam Brewery Amagansett APA 5.0%
Rich with a bouquet of citrus, melon, apricot and peach. An intricate blend of malt introduces some complex sugars, giving it a full body whilst balancing the strength and bitterness of the hops.

Long Man Best Bitter 4.0%
Perfectly balanced with a complex bittersweet malty taste, fragrant hops and a characteristic long deep finish. A traditional Sussex style Best Bitter.

Lister’s Brewery Best Bitter 3.9%
A traditional English ale in style and because it’s triple hopped has a depth of flavour that’s not often found in beers of this strength. A toffee fruity nose, full flavoured and balanced.

Lister’s Brewery Gold 5.0%
Rich and fruity. Golden ochre in colour, with rounded citrus notes.

Lister’s Brewery Pride of Sussex 4.2%
This American Pale Ale has a classic Cascade finish. Brewed to support Pride, we donate 5p to LGBT Foundation for every pint sold.
